Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Wheels4Wheels, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement.
Use License
Wheels4Wheels software published in the Wheels4Wheels repository is available under the MIT License, subject to the terms in the repository's LICENSE file. Site content, third-party materials, and datasets may be subject to separate terms stated with those materials.
Contributions
Code contributions accepted into the MIT-licensed codebase are distributed under the MIT License. Contributors must have the right to submit any code, data, or other materials they provide. Dataset-specific terms are communicated when data is requested or contributed.
Open Source
Wheels4Wheels is built on open source principles. Our code is available under the MIT License and contributions are welcome. Data derived from or contributed to OpenStreetMap remains subject to the OpenStreetMap Foundation's Open Database License (ODbL) and applicable contributor terms. Other datasets may carry separate terms supplied with the data.
Disclaimer
The materials on Wheels4Wheels are provided on an 'as is' basis. Wheels4Wheels makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are liable without limitation only for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body, or health. For simple negligence, liability is limited to breaches of essential contractual obligations and to the foreseeable damage typical for a free research website. Any further liability is excluded. Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. If you use this site as a consumer, the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected.
